thecaptainkirk) = it's 1969, and Len McCoy travels to Haight-Ashbury to start the Haight-Ashbury Enterprise, a free clinic he founds with Spock, Mama N, and Chris. There, he meets hippie Jim Kirk and, after a tumultuous start, they fall in hippie love. (Also written on prosing)*In My Life aka "older-haight" (with
thecaptainkirk) = like Haight!verse, only everything goes horribly wrong. Instead of sharing their feelings for each other, Len and Jim are two ships in the night. Jim goes back to Iowa to get an education so he can impress Len, but Len thinks Jim's abandoned him and flees to D.C. Fast forward 20 years: Jim is a Californian state senator with a son, Sam, and Len teaches at a nursing program and has a son Ty. After meeting Jim Kirk (hired hand at GeneCo), McCoy starts revealing just how much resentment he harbors for his old employer.
